TALK OF THE TOWN: Tom Hollander reignited romance with ex-fiance during lockdown

TALK OF THE TOWN: Things are looking up for 5ft 4in Tom Hollander after King’s Man actor reignited romance with interior designer ex-fiance during lockdown

Things are looking up for the romance between Tom Hollander and interior designer Fran Hickman.

I’m told Tom, 52, star of spy film The King’s Man – due for release next month – and Fran, 36, who broke off their engagement in 2010, spent the entire lockdown together at Tom’s home.

Friends tell me the couple are planning on making things official again.

‘They really love each other,’ says my mole. ‘Tom isn’t getting any younger. We’re all waiting on him to propose again.’

Fran towers over her 5ft 4in ‘sexy thimble’. Let’s hope when he gets down on one knee she can hear him from all the way down there…

With an estimated fortune of around £2million, you would think that Scottish hit-maker Lewis Capaldi would have splashed out on a decent motor by now.

But despite his song Someone You Loved being No1 for seven weeks, the frugal 23-yearold singer admits, ‘I drive my mum’s Ford Fiesta. I’m never home, so I’m not paying for that car. I haven’t even paid to be on the insurance for that car.’

What’s more, it’s a fetching shade of mint green. Such a catch! Form an orderly queue, ladies…

Jewellery designer Theodora Warre – great-granddaughter of former crown jeweller Harry Garrard – says that although she ‘learnt a lot’ during her time working on magazines such as Russian Vogue and Glamour, she wouldn’t do it again.

Why? The hours were too long.

Theodora, whose family created Princess Beatrice’s wedding tiara, admits: ‘I thought at the time it was a dream, but it’s not as glamorous as it sounds, that’s for sure. I was on a plane a lot of the time. We were doing lots of cover-shoots in LA or New York where all the celebs were.

‘Would I do it again if I was given my time? Probably not – but having said that, I learnt a lot.’

Planes, LA, celebrities? You poor thing, Theodora…
