Carlin Sterritt claims Locky Gilbert is ‘macking on with many girls’ behind the scenes

Carlin Sterritt has revealed his secret trysts on The Bachelorette. 

The 32-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, sensationally spilling secrets from the Channel Ten ratings juggernaut. 

While watching The Bachelor, Carlin revealed the mansion had various nooks and crannies that were shielded from prying camera lenses – allowing for a certain level of friskiness – and plenty of things happened that never made it to air. 

‘… [There’s] the orchard, the secret place you can go to for chats and stuff… [Angie and I macked on] at so many cocktail parties,’ he said. ‘But obviously they didn’t show it.’ 

He then claimed Locky, 30, would be doing the exact same thing on The Bachelor.

‘If you’re wondering, girls, yes, Locky is macking on with many girls at the cocktail parties. It’s happening. 100 per cent,’ he finished resolutely.

The term ‘macking on’ is slang for hitting on, or kissing.   

The secret comes after Carlin and Angie Kent called time on their romance after 10 months together.  

‘We have not wanted to confirm until this point because there have been much bigger issues going on in the world and we’ve both been taking space to think about what we really want,’ Angie told her Instagram followers on July 1.

Angie admitted there had been ‘a lot of speculation and rumours about the status of my relationship with Carlin’, and apologised to the fans who were invested in their romance. 

‘I appreciate everyone’s concern and the investment that many of you made into the show and our story, but this is real life and we both need privacy and time to heal,’ she added. ‘I just want to put the rumours to bed and to clarify so that questions stop.

‘Please remember we are both human beings like everyone else, so be kind if you do choose to leave comments or messages. Words can be very hurtful – and compound already very difficult times.’
