Emma Roberts encourages her fans to wear a mask and pick up a good book

Emma Roberts shared two important messages with her fans in one Instagram photo: wear a mask and read.

The 29-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram, where she also showed off her baby bump on Thursday.

She is expecting her first child with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, who she’s been dating since March 2019. 

‘Wear a mask. Read a book,’ she said, tagging her book recommendation service Belltrist, which she co-founded with Karah Preiss.

She added that she was reading The Lightness by Emily Temple, which she revealed is, ‘one of my favorite picks.’

She was seen laying back on a couch with several pillows with her book, but she was also spotted out visiting a friend on Thursday.

Roberts was seen wearing the same white maxi-dress out that she was wearing in her Instagram post.

She was seen wearing black sunglasses and black flat shoes, while carrying a white box and a black purse into her friend’s home.

Ironically, while Roberts was seen wearing a mask indoors on her Instagram post, she wasn’t seen wearing a mask outdoors while visiting her friend.

Roberts announced in late August that she was expecting her first child, a son, in an Instagram post with her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund.

‘Me… and my two favorite guys,’ Roberts said, sharing two blue heart emojis, indicating her child is a boy.

The actress was wearing a stylish white dress in the photos, one of her solo showing her baby bump, and the other with Hedlund by her side. 

Roberts is coming off the controversial film The Hunt, which was one of the last movies to hit theaters before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down theaters across the country.

She will next be seen in the Netflix film Holidate with Frances Fisher, Kristen Chenoweth and Luke Bracey, which reunites the actress with her Nancy Drew writer Tiffany Paulsen.

The film will be released worldwide on Netflix starting on October 28.
