Grant Denyer’s pregnant wife Chezzi breaks down as she talks about her three miscarriages

They’re discussing every aspect of their marriage in a weekly tell-all podcast, It’s All True?

And on Tuesday, Grant and Chezzi Denyer revealed their heartbreak over suffering three miscarriages in a 12-month period, before finally falling pregnant with their third child earlier this year.

Chezzi, 41, broke down in tears as she recalled the moment she lost a baby for the third time, saying she felt too ‘defeated’ to ever try again.

‘I speak to people all the time who have struggled to fall pregnant,’ she said.

‘It becomes a really big obsession, because you don’t understand why it happens for some people and it doesn’t happen to you.

‘You look at how crazy I became by that last miscarriage I just was defeated. It was heartbreaking.’

Grant, 43, responded: ‘I remember I was sort of, chatting about it and you were like… shall we just, give up?’

‘That’s going to make me cry,’ Chezzi said, before asking for a tissue to dry her tears.

As she discussed her struggles to fall pregnant in her forties, Chezzi added: ‘We struggled to fall pregnant this time.

‘We’re not going to get heavy and dark, but… it was tough. Nobody really knew our private journey.

‘Miscarriages are hard. It was hard. We shed a lot of tears and it was difficult.’

Former TV producer Chezzi shares daughters Scout, four, and Sailor, eight, with her Channel 10 presenter husband.

They announced their third pregnancy back in August. Their child is due on March 1.

Recently, Grant revealed to the Sunday Project’s Lisa Wilkinson how he was feeling about having another child, saying his household is ‘buzzing’ with excitement.

‘The Denyer household is really buzzing at the moment. The siblings are so excited,’ said the Dancing with the Stars presenter.

‘Scout, who is four, has already decided to name the newborn, and she’s going to call it Watermelon Sugar,’ he added, seemingly in reference to the Harry Styles song.
