Bachelorette Elly and Becky Miles send home Samuel Minkin and Nick Chamberlain during rose ceremony

The fun and laughter came to a screeching halt on Wednesday’s premiere of The Bachelorette when Elly and Becky Miles had to decide who to evict.

And unfortunately for Samuel Minkin and Nick Chamberlain, the pair were the first out of the batch of men to be sent home during the rose ceremony.

The decision undoubtedly proved to be a tough one for the stunning sisters, with Becky being dealt an extra blow after suitor Ab Sow turned her down in a shocking turn of events.

After hearing Becky, 30, call out his name during the first rose ceremony, a solemn Ab stepped forward and apologised.

‘Becky, I’m really sorry. You’re absolutely beautiful and unfortunately, I cannot accept this rose,’ the 27-year-old filmmaker told the visibly upset Bachelorette.

In a private chat, Ab told Becky: ‘I just don’t think I’m the right person for you. It’s only right that I’m honest with you right now instead of letting you know down the road.’

Following Ab’s exit the show continued and ultimately the women decided they didn’t see a romantic future with both Samuel and Nick. 

The men took their eviction in stride as they hugged Becky and Elly and wished them luck in their journey to find love. 

Meanwhile, a teaser clip for Thursday’s episode shows Becky enjoying a steamy photoshoot with hunky Frazer Neate    

Elly’s chemistry with shirtless Frazer appears so intense that they forget they are being watched by the other disheartened men nearby. 

‘I’m in a gold mine! I’ve got oil all over me, and I’m ready to find some gold,’ a thrilled Elly says in the short teaser clip.

Racy scenes show the blonde bombshell touching Frazer’s chiselled torso before their lips nearly lock.

‘There’s a bit of chemistry going on! Who knows where it’ll lead,’ Frazer says.

Host Osher Günsberg is then heard saying: ‘[It’s] a saucy photoshoot which ignites the spark and leaves the men smouldering’.

The other men are seen looking unimpressed as they watch Elly’s and Frazer’s sizzling chemistry behind the photographer.

Contestant Joe, who has previously dated Elly, passionately declares: ‘This is the moment that ignited the fire inside of me and made me realise I do have real feelings for Elly. It’s torture!

Frazer emerged as an early frontrunner with Bachelorette Elly and fans alike on Wednesday. 

Viewers of the show noted that the ‘awkward’ Queenslander made his entrance to romantic fairy-tale music in the background, which is a sure-fire sign that he makes it far in the competition.
