Brandi Redmond reveals daughter Brinkley, 9, survived tragic car crash that killed mother-in-law

Brandi Redmond’s daughter Brinkley, nine, and mother-in-law Jill Marie Redmond were involved in a car accident that occurred sometime on Saturday. 

Although Brinkley’s life was spared, the 42-year-old Real Housewives of Dallas star revealed on Instagram that her mother-in-law had passed away as a result of the crash. 

Brandi asked her 457,000 followers to ‘lift [her] sweet Brinkley up as she continues to heal and that God protects her heart and eyes from this tragedy.’

Redmond also requested that everyone ‘keep [her] family in [their] prayers during this difficult time.’ 

‘I am so thankful for [Brinkley’s] life. This is probably the most thankful yet pain I’ve ever felt,’ concluded Redmond.

She did not provide any details regarding Brinkley’s injuries, nor did she elaborate on the nature/cause of the tragic car wreck. 

Brandi did, however, repost a tribute to Jill Marie that was published by her husband Bryan Redmond’s three sisters, Lauren, Megan and Kristen, on Saturday.

‘This is our mom, Jill Marie Redmond. We spoke to her daily. To speak of her in past tense hurts beyond words. Hours ago we lost her in a tragic car accident,’ wrote the trio.

They also included a stunning snapshot of themselves posing on the front porch of a home with their late mother.

Lauren, Megan and Kristen thanked Jesus ‘for saving [their] niece who was in the car with her,’ before reflecting on their mother’s life and lasting impact.

‘To know our mom was to love her. She was a shining light to all who were lucky enough to know her. She loved so fiercely. She felt so deeply. And she loved Jesus with all her heart. 

‘Her world was FAMILY. She loved her 4 children and many grand babies to the depths of her soul, and she left us doing what she loved most- caring for her grand babies. We are in shock and are experiencing an indescribable pain,’ they wrote.

To close out the heartbreaking post, Lauren, Megan and Kristen encouraged their podcast listeners to ‘hug [their] loved ones extra tight tonight and always’ in their ‘mom’s honor.’

Saturday’s tragic accident comes exactly one week after Brinkley’s 9th birthday celebration.

Brandi uploaded a sweet snapshot of her youngest daughter to her Instagram and penned a touching tribute in her honor.

‘Happy 9th Birthday @brinkley__redmond You are my sunshine. I love you so so so much and can’t believe 9 years have already gone by,’ she began.

‘Thank you for your sweet gentle soul that loves life to the fullest. You are EVERYTHING and I am so blessed to call you my daughter. Hope today and everyday is filled with love laughter and blessings.’
