Starting her last day off strong, Kaley woke up at five am with a cup of coffee, and a happy tune, as she posted a video of her jamming out to Higher Love by Whitney Houston and Kygo.

Cuoco’s final wardrobe look as ‘Cassie,’ included a peach and white striped cardigan, layered over a white t-shirt, and a pair of black trouser pants.

Dolled up with natural glam for the scenes, Kaley had her blonde hair down and sported a light swatch of black eyeliner.

Referring to Zosia, as her ‘unicorn’, the close duo chatted and hugged, as they finished the project that had been in the works for over a year.

Taking a breather, Kaley sat in one of the director’s chairs that were lined up in the filming zone, as they closed off the city street.

To ease the sadness of her last day on set, Cuoco had her dog Dumpy with her, as she cradled him before getting back to filming.

She chatted with a production associate, who had a celebratory bottle of wine on hand, as they wrapped a day that Kaley described as, ’emotional,’ after months of hard work.

Upon wrapping, she laughed with the director and smiled with the crew, as she gave them a heartfelt thank you.

Taking to Instagram to share her wave of mixed emotions, Kaley wrote:

‘That’s a wrap for Cassie , on season one of The Flight Attendant. Thank you to every single person that’s been part of this project. You are important and I couldn’t do this without you. I’ll be spending the rest of the weekend crying,’ she said.

The project – which has taken over a year to film due to the Coronavirus pandemic – first came to fruition after Kaley read the book by Chris Bohjalian, three years ago.

Passion project: After reading only part of the book three years ago, a gut instinct told her to pursue the rights to the story.

Having a vested interest in the story – a thriller-comedy about a flight attendant who wakes up next to a dead man after a blurry evening – she was desperate to see it come to life on the screen.

After reading only part of the book, a gut instinct told her to pursue the rights to the story.

‘Something told me to jump on this, so once we started getting into it, I read it really quick and thank goodness I loved it,’ Kaley said.

In the middle of shooting, the production was forced to stop down in March due to the virus, but resumed filming in late August.

Now that the production process is coming to an end, Kaley is shifting her focus to press, as she waits for the series to premiere.

‘I dreamt it up so long ago. I can’t wait to bring it to you, I hope you guys love it,’ she said.

The series is set to be released on HBO Max within the next couple months.
