Filming has commenced for Big Brother Australia 2021.
The first set of contestants for next year’s show have entered the purpose-built compound on Manly’s North Head in Sydney on Monday.
Daily Mail Australia understands at least six contestants have entered the house so far, with several intruders also scheduled to join over the next few days.

Three contestants were seen being interviewed by host Sonia Kruger before they entered the house.
Sonia was seen chatting to a female raven-haired beauty, who wore lime coloured ensemble with matching furry slippers.
The second contestant to enter was a blonde, who couldn’t wipe the smile off her face while chatting to the host.

Sonia couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she introduced the third male contestant – a flamboyant and hilarious character, who at one stage was seen dancing with the host.
The 55-year-old television presenter looked sensational as she flaunted her toned physique in a striped padded shoulder mini-dress.
Sonia appeared to have trimmed her signature blonde tresses, and rocked a new bob cut for the upcoming series.

Daily Mail Australia understands the housemates were originally scheduled to enter the house on Saturday, but were forced to reschedule after hazard reduction burning jumped containment lines on Sydney’s North Head.
An Endemol Shine Australia spokesperson confirmed the house had been evacuated.
‘Due to the impact of a prescribed hazard reduction burn at North Head, the Big Brother crew onsite were safely evacuated,’ the spokesperson said.

All crew and audience members were required to wear black face masks as a COVID-19 safety precaution.
As there is no air date set for Big Brother Australia 2021, it’s safe to assume a portion of the series will be pre-recorded and aired later in the year.
