‘I still think about him probably every day’: Vogue Williams reveals it would have been ‘amazing’ if her late father Freddie could have met her children Theodore and Gigi

Vogue Williams has told how she would have loved if her late father Freddie could have met her children Theodore, 2, and three-month-old Gigi.

The TV presenter’s father passed away aged 68 from a stroke in 2010 after going to hospital to remove an aneurysm.

Speaking on The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio 1, Vogue, 35, said she ‘still thinks about him probably everyday’.

The reality star said it would have been ‘amazing’ for her father to get to meet her children, adding that most of her extended family have not met daughter Gigi.

She said: ‘A friend of mine just lost her mom recently, and I said to her, that it is really hard now. But eventually, you get to a point where you just think really fondly of them.

‘Most of my family haven’t met her either, because she was born during lockdown. My mum has met her, my stepdad has met her and that is kind of it with my whole family.’

Vogue has been in London with her husband Spencer Matthews, 32, since the coronavirus pandemic began.

She recently purchased a new home in her native Howth, Dublin, where she has not been since last November.

Vogue said: ‘I haven’t set foot in my new place but that’s fine. I had a couple of planned trips home but they never happened.’

The mother-of-two has been feeling homesick lately and recently posted on Instagram: ‘Feeling like I’ll never get home to Howth… I haven’t been back since November and I know there are bigger issues but I’m really missing Ireland.’

Vogue has had her new Howth pad completely renovated while she is still in London, with her sister Amber currently house-minding the property.

The star does not have any plans to move back to Dublin and will still be based in London.

Vogue previously told her social media followers: ‘Lots of people are asking if I’ve moved home.

‘No, we aren’t moving home but we have wanted a bigger space in Dublin for a long time. Now we can all fit and hopefully spend a little more time in Ireland.’

Vogue and Spencer, who married in July 2018, bought their trendy London pad back in 2017.
