Things got messy on Thursday’s episode of The Bachelorette.

For the group date, the show’s suitors and bachelorettes Becky and Elly Miles were forced to run an obstacle course.

But the show’s viewers were confused by the date, with many fans tweeting about how much they hated it.

‘This is the worst episode of It’s a Knockout I’ve ever seen,’ tweeted one person, while another wrote, ‘That was not a date… the pub for beers & parmis. That’s a date.’

Added another: ‘I BET THESE GUYS ARE ALL WEARING SOCKS. WET SOCKS. EWWWW’. 

Meanwhile, others thought it had morphed into another reality TV show, referencing Channel Seven’s SAS Australia.

‘This SAS show doesn’t seem that tough?’ they joked. 

Sisters Elly, 25, and Becky, 30, arrived in wedding dresses to greet the suitors, who were all dressed in formal attire.

They explained that the obstacle course was actually a ‘race to the altar’, with Adrian Baena appointed referee.

The 26-year-old was refused medical clearance to participate because he was on antibiotics, with many fans claiming he was the real winner.

‘If I was invited on this date I would also conveniently be on antibiotics and unable to participate,’ tweeted one viewer.
