Kim Kardashian dresses as a red alien while attending sister Kendall Jenner’s birthday party

She received flack for going all out for her 40th birthday last month by flying family and friends to the South Pacific during a time when travel is severely restricted.

But Kim Kardashian appeared to be putting those concerns behind her, when she headed to her younger half-sister Kendall Jenner’s 25th birthday blowout on Saturday night.

For the naturally Halloween-themed bash, Kim showed off a bizarre head-to-toe red look, which she showed off on her Instagram Stories from within the confines of her spiderweb-covered home.

The mother-of-four perched next to someone in a black helmet and jumpsuit ensemble – presumably her husband Kanye West. 

Kim’s crazy look included a gown, gloves, heels and an entire face and head covering, which nonetheless allowed for her eyes to peek through and a zipper for her mouth. 

Along the bottom of her Story entries, the Skims entrepreneur informed her 191m followers that the look was custom Balenciaga.  

Even Kim K’s long high ponytail appeared red, although it could have also been the red light in which she posed. 

Kendall’s costume bash, meanwhile, was the party of the night, with a guest list that (naturally) included younger sister Kylie Jenner along with several other famous faces.

The Weeknd made a brilliant and strong showing, dressed as Eddie Murphy’s Sherman Klump from 1996’s The Nutty Professor.

Birthday girl Kendall, meanwhile, also incarnated a film character from 1996 – she wowed the crowds in a direct knockoff of pulp comic book character Barb Wire made famous by Pamela Anderson. 

As for Kylie, she stunned as usual, this time in a positively scintillating cobra costume, complete with fanged headdress and a tail. 

Two other stars present were Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith, who were seen on Kylie’s Instagram Stories having a close tete-a-tete off to one side at a table. 

The Kardashians caught heavy controversy last week when Kim shared a host of photos from her lavish vacation to Marlon Brando’s private island in Tahiti.

Kim revealed in her caption that all her guests received ‘multiple health screens’ and quarantined two weeks before she surprised them with a trip to a private island to celebrate her 40th birthday.

‘After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.’

Twitter was set alight with commentary for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star as memes flooded the site in between thought-provoking anecdotes where users bashed the family for their tone-deaf approach.
