Becky Miles has confirmed her split from her chosen winner Pete Mann, just hours after the dramatic Bachelorette finale.
The 30-year-old confirmed the heartbreaking news in a lengthy Instagram post on Friday, saying that while sister Elly found ‘her person,’ things ‘didn’t work out’ for her and Pete.
‘We came into this experience wanting a fairy tale ending for the two of us, and while I am thrilled Elly found her person in Frazer, unfortunately things didn’t work out with Pete and I,’ Becky wrote.

Becky chose the cafe owner as her winning suitor during Thursday’s finale.
During a heart to heart, Becky, 30, told Pete, 35, that she sees him as husband material.

She began to tell Pete how comfortable he has made her feel, and how she views him as husband material.
‘Every date we’ve been on, you made me feel so comfortable, regardless of, you know, if I’m, like, throwing you out of a plane,’ she began.

‘You’re just so trustworthy and you’re such a kind soul as well. From the start, I was just like, I feel like you’re husband material. Yeah, I truly think that.’
Becky went on to reveal that although Pete expressed his concerns about fully opening up to someone, she could still see potential in him.
‘I know with you there were some concerns about whether or not you were ready for me at the end of this. But there’s so much potential there in us, and you are worth taking that risk.

Pete expressed his relief at becoming Becky’s final suitor, having been hurt in past relationships.
‘I’m so happy because now that you’ve chosen me, I don’t need to worry about getting hurt, and I’m so excited to let myself go and to feel those emotions much more and to build this together,’ he said.
