Travis Scott’s McDonald’s action figure is selling for a whopping $55,000 on the resale market

McDonald’s alerted his fans about a chance to win an action figure in his likeness in late September.

And now one of the highly coveted Travis Scott McDonald’s action figures has found its way to the resale market.

The toy version of the 29-year-old rapper, which is one of only five units, is currently on sale for a minimum bid of $55,000 on StockX.

Rise in value: An action figure in Travis Scott’s likeness that was given out to winners on social media is now selling for a stunning $55,000 on StockX after only five were awarded

McDonald’s originally shared a photo of the action figure on Twitter, writing that it was ‘rare, handcrafted & numbered.’

Fans were instructed to quote tweet the post in hopes of winning one of the five toys.

The figurine was dressed in a casual outfit often favored by the Sicko Mode rapper, with a white T-shirt, black shorts and black and white Nikes, along with a massive silver pendant and chain around his neck and his standard braids.

Although the lowest selling price is listed at $55,000, no one has yet been willing to bid over $4,050.

Travis is the first celebrity to get his own McDonald’s meal since Michael Jordan had one in 1992.

The now-pricey toy was intended to help advertise the fast food brand’s Travis Scott meal, or the ‘Cactus Pack,’ which adds bacon to a standard Quarter Pounder with cheese.

The burger also comes with a side of medium fries, barbecue dipping sauce and a Sprite, and costs six dollars.

The lightly tweaked meal seems to have sold well, and some McDonald’s restaurants have reported shortages of the ingredients involved, according to TMZ.

The rapper showed up at a McDonald’s in Downey, California in September to advertise the meal, but he and the fast food corporation were fined by the city for not having a permit after a swarm of mostly unmasked people arrived to see him.

In addition to the ultra-rare action figure, Travis sold pricey McDonald’s merchandise that quickly sold out and skyrocketed in value.

A pillow designed to look like a photorealistic chicken nugget was originally offered at $90, but it now sells for $450 on StockX.

Back in September, Travis was seemingly moved after Jonah DeToro, a 20-year-old battling brain and spinal tumors, tagged him in a tweet while celebrating his birthday with the Travis Scott meal.

‘Ur my hero!!!! Anyway If I can make ur day better makes me happy !!! Imma try to get something up there to u kiddo,’ Travis tweeted after seeing the post.

The increased exposure led to the creation of a GoFundMe to help pay for DeToro’s cancer treatments, and the songwriter seems to have sent him an extra gift.

On Monday, DeToro posed with a copy of Travis’ action figure with a box with a receipt for order 14 affixed to the front.

‘Thanks for the victory trophy @trvisXX @McDonalds,’ he tweeted.

It’s not clear if the figure was one of the five original, or if Travis had extras to spare.
