Confirmed: Controversial chef Pete Evans will be joining the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Co-host Ben Norris said on the program: ‘We can 100 per cent confirm that Pete Evans is currently in Northern NSW getting ready to shoot I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. He is one of the contestants on the show.’

He continued: ‘Whilst there is going to be a bit of a headache created for Bev McGarvey, who is Channel 10’s chief content officer, I will say I’m A Celebrity is a family friendly show so Pete Evan’s on this program will be shown in a family friendly manner.’

Ben said that once the former Channel Seven talent will need to be ‘produced correctly’ he make be ‘good entertainment’.

He added he believes the network will not show his ‘outrageous anti-vaccine type behaviour’ during the program.

‘I think we may see some slight interactions with him and some of the other contestants about some of his theories but there will be a massive duty of care.’

Ben reiterated: ‘Pete Evans is going to be on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. It’s going to happen, nothing’s going to stop that.’

The news of his Pete casting comes just hours after he shared Neo-Nazi content on his Facebook – landing himself in hot water with IAC producers.

He posted an animated meme of a caterpillar wearing a MAGA cap and butterfly with the neo-nazi Black Sun emblem on its wing.
