Zoe Kravitz wishes her ‘twin’ mother Lisa Bonet a happy 53rd birthday: ‘She’s cooler than all of us’

Zoë Kravitz posted a never-before-seen snap of herself as a baby to celebrate her Emmy-nominated mother Lisa Bonet’s 53rd birthday on Monday.

‘She don’t have Instagram cuz she’s cooler than all of us,’ the 31-year-old SAG Award nominee – who boasts 6M followers – wrote.

‘Happy birthday twin [flame] #mama!’  

Zoë’s tribute received glowing comments from designer Jeremy Scott, R&B singer Alicia Keys, Antebellum actress Janelle Monáe, DJ D-Nice, and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Vanessa Marcil.

And while Kravtiz’s famous stepfather Jason Momoa commented with heart emojis, he did not post his own tribute to his wife of three years.

However, the former Cosby kid’s ex-husband – four-time Grammy winner Lenny Kravitz – tweeted a throwback b&w snap of her captioned: ‘Happy Birthday, Flower Child.’

Lisa and the 56-year-old rock star – who met in 1985 backstage at a New Edition concert – have remained amicable since ending their four-year marriage in 1993. 

‘People can’t believe how tight Jason and I are, or how tight I still am with [my daughter] Zoë’s mom, how we all relate,’ Lenny said in the November edition of Men’s Health.

‘We just do it because that’s what you do. You let love rule, right? I mean, obviously, after a breakup, it’s work. It takes some work and time, healing and reflection, et cetera. But as far as Jason and I? Literally the moment we met, we were like, “Oh, yeah. I love this dude.”‘

Bonet’s former A Different World castmate Cree Summer – who’s godmother to Zoë – shared several retro snaps of the pair for her Instagram tribute.

‘Long time love … Happy birthday Freeda Bandita,’ the 51-year-old Daytime Emmy nominee gushed.

Summer (born Francks) added a quote from Lisa aka Lilakoi: ‘Like, you couldn’t imagine a rainbow without yellow? I couldn’t imagine significant events in my life without her.’

Since September, the High Fidelity star has been hard at work in England portraying cat burglar Selina Kyle/Catwoman on the set of Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

Zoë’s castmate Colin Farrell – who’s unrecognizable as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin – told Today FM last month that the cast should ‘shoot until February on and off.’

The Batman – which won’t hit US/UK theaters until March 4, 2022 – also features Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, and Andy Serkis.
