The 2020 AACTA Awards were held at The Star in Sydney on Monday, and a number of big names took home lauded gongs.
The AACTA Award Best Reality Program went to Masterchef Australia, with judges Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo accepting their hard won prize.
The trio looked delighted as they took to the stage to receive the statuette, with Jock thanking the AACTA committee on their behalf.

Afterwards, along with their executive producer, the judges had a ball posing up a storm with their statuette.
Cate Blanchett won awards as both a supporting actress and producer for the miniseries Stateless, however she did not attend the ceremony.
Stateless, which deals with Australia’s immigration detention system, had a huge night, leading the pack with 13 awards in total.

Fayssal Bazz won Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama for Stateless, and looked overjoyed with his win.
The award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama went Yvonne Strahovski, also for Stateless, and she accepted via video link.
The award for Best Guest or Supporting Actor in a Television Drama went to another Stateless star, Darren Gilshenan.

Making strides in the film category was the coming-of-age comedy-drama Babyteeth which won seven awards, including best film and best director.
It’s star Ben Mendelsohn won the Best Supporting Actor nod and accepted via video link, looking quite different with a shaved head and moustache.
Best Lead Actress winner Eliza Scanlen went along to collect her gong, and appeared truly pleased as she posed with her award.

However, the Australia actress was beamed in via a video link to gratefully make her speech.
