Victoria captioned the post: ‘The making of… never work with kids or animals!! Love you @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven’.

Posh asked Brooklyn, who was standing in front of a spectacular Christmas tree stroking Sage, ‘Brooklyn are you sure you don’t want to put trousers on?’

Meanwhile, Cruz pointed at his Christmas jumper which had Borat in a Santa hat, which prompted Victoria to say: ‘Excellent, that sums up your personality’.

As the dogs failed to sit when Victoria instructed, she told the group: ‘This is a Christmas card guys, this is meant to be a nice thing to do’.

But Harper told her: ‘This is a very sad Christmas’. Victoria said: ‘This is a lovely Christmas’, before shouting at the boys: ‘pick up a dog’.

The scene then moved on to the Beckham brood posing for a photo with Posh playing photographer, while singing: ‘Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la’.

An unimpressed Brooklyn then decided he had enough and walked out of shot.

Victoria did manage to get a smiling photo of her children which she also uploaded on Instagram, alongside the caption: ‘Kisses at Christmas! Lots of love from all of us x x x @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven x x x’.

It comes after Victoria celebrated 24 years since The Spice Girls released their first ever Christmas number one with a fun throwback clip.
