Amelia Hamlin, 19, hits back at criticism of her age-gap romance with Scott Disick, 37

She has caused quite the stir after becoming the latest love interest of Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick, 37. 

And Amelia Gray Hamlin hit back at ‘weird and judgmental people’ after she received criticism for the couple’s 18-year age gap in an impassioned Instagram post over the weekend.

The model, 19, took to her Stories with a pouting selfie, as she appeared to address the furore surrounding the pair. 

She wrote: ‘ppl r extra weird and judgemental these days.. people can embrace themselves however they feel fit for them at that moment in time. 

‘people grow. people learn to love themselves more and more’ [sic]

Amelia was pictured with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star last month, when they were photographed enjoying a beach stroll in Malibu. 

The teen model first hinted at the new romance when she posted images to her Instagram Story from a dinner date with Scott at Tre Lune, an upscale restaurant in Montecito, California, captioning the post: ‘My love’. 

The couple had previously been seen together at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween-themed birthday party on October 31. 

At the end of last month, Amelia posted a beach selfie with new beau Scott and a friend, with the caption: ‘Thankful 4 these ppl’ [sic]  

Insiders told E! News earlier this month that Scott and Amelia ‘are talking and hanging out, but neither are looking for anything serious. 

A source said: ‘He is enjoying her company. She doesn’t spend time with the kids at all and Scott only sees her on his days off from his kids.’ 

Scott and Kourtney, 41, dated on-and-off between 2007 and 2015 and remain close.

The former couple co-parent three children; sons Mason, 11, daughter Penelope, eight, and son Reign, six. 

Scott is recently out of a high-profile romance with music legend Lionel Richie’s daughter Sofia, 22.

The pair called it quits over the summer after dating on and off for three years.
