Clearly besotted, Caspar shared snaps of Ellie caught off-guard indulging in cake, wearing a patterned facemask, and gazing into the distance during a date night.
Her love also uploaded a selfie of them wearing wooly hats during a country walk and a hilarious couples photo taken in a lift which went wrong, leaving only their lower halves in shot.
Caspar penned a heartfelt message to Ellie, which he shared alongside the photographs, writing: ‘Wife, you’re god darn bl**dy perfect.
‘I have treasured every single moment of the past 365 days with you – so many country walks, so many home-cooked date nights, and one very special anniversary roadtrip in Italy. Happy birthday my angel xxx.’

In May, Ellie confessed she was ‘wooed’ by her husband Caspar, and that the pair had ‘nothing in common’ when they first met.
The singer admitted ‘it wasn’t love at first sight’ as she spoke out on her chequered love life during her appearance on fellow chart star Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast.

‘It’s not a particularly exciting story, sadly. It wasn’t a love at first sight thing at all,’ she told Jessie. ‘We didn’t fancy each other at all. We were just sat next to each other at dinner.’
Ellie explained that she wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t even keen on going to the dinner where she would meet her future husband.
‘I was feeling really rough. I had terrible bronchitis at the time and I was really ill – the most ill if been in ages.
‘All I wanted to do was go to bed after the show and I went to this dinner that my friend had kindly put on for me.’

‘And I was sat next to Caspar and he was from a big farming family and I talked about how I was vegan.
‘And he talked about how much he loved meat: beef and chicken and lamb and whatever else. So we literally had nothing in common.’
Ellie admitted though that despite less than romantic first impressions: ‘he wooed me basically. We ended up just going on dates. He works in art so he took me to art galleries and stuff, and now we’re married.’
The star had a series of high profile romances before meeting Caspar, dating Niall Horan, Radio 1 DJ Greg James, actor Jeremy Irvine, DJ Skrillex and McFly bassist Dougie Poynter.
There were also rumoured relationships with Ed Sheeran and even Prince Harry.
