Former MAFS star Mike Gunner is trolled for an ‘irrelevant caption’

Former Married At First Sight star Mike Gunner has been targeted by a cheeky troll account on Instagram that points out ‘irrelevant captions’ on posts.

The popular account, which boasts 66,000 followers, regularly mocks reality stars and influencers for posting captions that are completely unrelated to their pictures.

In Mike’s case, they poked fun at the former TV groom for sharing a photo of himself holding a furry ferret. 

He captioned the post: ‘The greatest lesson I’ve learned: Never underestimate your potential – know your value.

‘Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. Ignore them and do it anyway, then encourage others to follow their dreams. Happiness never decreases by being shared.’

The account reposted the image, captioning it: ‘Is that a f***ing ferret.’

Despite attempting to make fun of Mike, many of the people following the account commented that his post wasn’t that bad.

‘Your only job is to make fun of people who deserve it and you fail 90% of the time,’ wrote one follower.

‘Honestly he’s kinda cute haha. He should’ve just gone with “hey I have a f***ing ferret” and it would’ve been a hundred times better,’ added another.

‘I don’t care what it is. I just want him to hold me,’ wrote one.

Mike is currently back in the spotlight as his season of Married At First Sight has now started airing in the UK.

English viewers are already smitten with the series, with many falling in love with Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant’s love story.
