Laverne Cox, 48, goes make-up free as she shows off her curves in a plunging lace-up swimsuit

She rose to fame with her role as Sophia Burset on the hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.

And Laverne Cox certainly commanded attention on Instagram on Tuesday as she flaunted her curves in a corset swimsuit. 

The actress, 48, showed off her flawless complexion as she danced make-up free in the racy one-piece. 

Laverne showed off her ample cleavage in the plunging lace-up swimsuit which had a high rise design.  

She wore her blonde hair in a sleek straight do and told fans she had no make-up on and wasn’t using a filter.  

Last month, the actress talked to Ellen DeGeneres about finding love in 2020 and navigating the dating scene as a trans woman during the pandemic. 

She said: ‘[Found love in 2020] almost sounds like a punchline, but, yeah, Laverne is in love again and it feels amazing. 

‘Love is an incredible thing. It’s literally this chemical thing that’s awesome and he is a really great guy and I didn’t expect it,’ admitted Cox, who did not name her current flame.

She continued: ‘I thought he was going to be this hot dude I was hanging out with and then it just kind of happened.’ 

While congratulating the star on finding love, Ellen asked Laverne ‘how long’ the relationship has been going on.

‘We have been hanging out for six months and we went really slowly. So, the world “love” sort of happened around November/December.

‘So, yeah, it’s been six months, I guess,’ Cox concluded. 

Laverne’s candid appearance on Ellen comes after the star previously shared unseen bikini videos of herself to Instagram to celebrate the release of her new film Promising Young Woman with Carey Mulligan. 

The LGBTQ+ advocate opted to bare her curves, despite sharing that usually these types of videos ‘have been private,’ as she stunned in a black two piece. 

Cox was unafraid to proudly display her figure as she told her followers, ‘here ya go.’
