Jamie Foxx wishes his daughter Corinne a happy 27th birthday with sweet Instagram post: ‘Keep shining your light on the world’

Jamie Foxx had a very special occasion to celebrate on Monday.

The 53-year-old actor posted an assortment of photos to his Instagram account to commemorate his daughter Corrine’s 27th birthday.

The Django Unchained actor also wrote a lengthy message in the caption for the snaps to let his daughter know how much she meant to him.

The message began with, ‘I want to take time out to wish HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!…to the most amazing daughter in the world.’ 

He continued, ‘You amaze me every day with your kindness you’re beautiful spirit your humble soul…and your amazing talents.’

The actor finished his message by writing, ‘Keep shining your light on the world… You are necessary… I love you.’

In addition to numerous solo photos of his daughter, the Ray actor also included two images of him with his first child in her early years.

Corinne is Foxx’s first daughter from his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Connie Kline.

The actor also shares another daughter named Anelise, aged 11, with Kristin Grannis.

Corinne has followed her father’s footsteps into an acting career and made her film debut in the 2019 survival horror picture 47 Meters Down: Uncaged.

The following year, she appeared as Kaycee Stone in the biographical sports film Safety.

She is set to appear in the upcoming movie All-Star Weekend, which her father wrote, starred in and directed.

In an interview with the New York Post, the actress spoke about how she initially strayed away from a career in entertainment, which she eventually embraced.

‘Acting was something I always wanted to do, but I felt like it was expected of me…And you never want to do what people expect you to do,’ she said.

She also discussed how she has enjoyed collaborating with her dad in the past and that he has helped her to become a better performer. 

Specifically, Corinne expressed that her father ‘really encourages me to use my voice…he’s a pleasure to work with.’
