There looks like there will be plenty of drama for the Shelby family in series six of Peaky Blinders.
Paul Anderson, who plays Arthur Shelby in the BBC period crime drama, filmed a tense confrontation with a rival in the street as filming got under way in Manchester on Wednesday.
The actor, 43, rocked the eldest Shelby sibling’s signature look as he sported a thick moustache, flat cap and bow tie for the night-time filming.

During the sequence, Paul (Arthur) was spotted walking by the Garrison Tavern when he was confronted by what appeared to be an enemy.
His rival was pictured with fists clenched and reportedly shouted at Arthur in Italian.
Elsewhere, heavy smoke filled the scene as three characters- one holding a rifle- emerged from a vehicle and headed into the pub.

The crew kept fans of the show at a distance behind the railings and fencing at Manchester’s Castlefield so filming could continue.
The final tweaks were made to the Manchester-based sets earlier this week, after the cast had been filming in Scotland.
The sets, however, are portraying Birmingham, the actual setting of the hit gangster drama.

The BBC drama has been running for eight years and has enjoyed huge popularity but the sixth season has been confirmed as the final one, with creator Steven Knight confirming the story will return ‘in another form’.
Steven believes the programme can be extended, possibly as a feature length spin-off, as he said in a statement: ‘Peaky is back and with a bang. After the enforced production delay due to the Covid pandemic, we find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher.
‘We believe this will be the best series of all and are sure that our amazing fans will love it.
