Olivia Wilde cut a solo figure as she headed out for a coffee in London on her 37th birthday.

The actress wrapped up in a long grey cot and teal cardigan after picking up a hot drink on Wednesday.

The birthday outing comes days after her ex Jason Sudeikis thanked her in his acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards, praising the star for encouraging him to turn his idea into the TV series Ted Lasso.

Olivia bundled up against the chilly British weather in a chunky green cardigan and flared cream trousers as she carried her coffee home.

The Booksmart director opted for a black beanie hat and grey overcoat with a black face mask under her chin following the trip to the shop.

Olivia’s outing came after ex Jason thanked her during his acceptance speech after scooping the Critics Choice Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday.

‘Wow. Holy smokes. Okay. Again, thank you very much for the critics choice association,’ he said from the home he’s sharing in London with new girlfriend Keeley Hazell. ‘

‘A great number of you have been so vocal about your enjoyment of the show and it’s been very, very flattering. We greatly appreciate it.’

Ted Lasso is an Apple TV+ comedy series which sees a small-time college football coach from Kansas, Lasso, [Sudeikis], hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having barely any experience.

‘I want to thank my sisters, my kids, Otis and Daisy … I want to thank their mom, Olivia,’ he said. ‘She had the initial idea to do it as a TV show. You like doing that, you should do it as a movie or TV show. She was right.

‘It’s been a wack- ass year. This thing has been a wonderful vessel to hear people’s stories of forgiveness and redemption and healing and understanding. It’s really, really flattering to have the opportunity to share something. It means something to you guys. It means a lot. Thank you.’

On Wednesday night, Olivia herself marked her 37th birthday with a makeup free Instagram snap, writing: ‘Ok, 37, let’s f**king go. Thank you for my birthday love. I wish we were all dancing in a sweaty bar.’

It’s thought Olivia has been living with Jason and their two children Otis, six, and Daisy, four, in London after forming a bubble so the former couple can still see their children while the second season of Ted Lasso is being filmed.

The pair enjoyed a seven-year engagement before announcing their split in November, and have been focusing on prioritising their children amid their parting.

She has since moved on with Harry Styles, 27, who was understood to be staying elsewhere despite jetting to the UK with his new girlfriend late last month.

One source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘It all seems a bit awkward, things have moved fast between Harry and Olivia so [this] must be strange but how nice they are doing it for the kids… You’d think it’s all quite difficult.’
