Tarek El Moussa gets early Father’s Day gift in the form of heartwarming text from 10-year-old daughter Taylor: ‘Made my day… saving this one forever’
Tarek El Moussa has been open and honest about how tough it can be being a dad, especially in the wake of his split with Christina Haack in 2016, and their subsequent divorce two years later.
But during those four-plus years as a single parent, the reality star has boasted even more about the amazing gifts that come with being a father to his daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, five.
And over the weekend El Moussa took to Instagram to share one of those gifts, which came in the form of a simple text message, that has become one of those monumental moments that would help put anyone’s life, and all of its ups and downs, in perspective.

The Flip Or Flop star got the text message from his daughter, and decided to share it with his one million Instagram fans and followers on Friday.
‘Blessed with the sweetest girl in the world,’ the reality star gushed in the caption along with a red heart emoji.
‘Swipe to see the text that I got from Tay at 7AM this morning… made my day and I loved the validation she gave me “don’t worry you’re still handsome with your beard.”‘
He concluded: ‘No better feeling in the world than waking up to some extra love from your babies- saving this one forever!!!’

In the text, Taylor wasted little time in pulling at her father’s heart-strings, writing, ‘I love you dad you’re the best in the world.’
She proceeded to wish her father have ‘an amazing day at work’ two times, all while sharing how she’s ‘proud of you in any moment we’re together.’
After calling him ‘an amazing dad’, she asked that he tell Heather, his fiancée, ‘I said I love her.’
It’s at this point that she said, ‘I love you so much and don’t worry you’re still handsome with your beard.’

‘I wanted you to know that all the things that you provide are cherished and amazing,’ the little girl added.
Taylor ended by calling her father’s work ‘amazing’ and that she’s ‘happy I got to spend my life with you.’
El Moussa and Haack announced their split in December 2016 and eventually finalized their divorce in January 2018 after nearly nine years of marriage.
Despite going their separate ways with the personal lives, the former couple are still filming their show, Flip Or Flop, together.
