Matthew Perry sells off lavish LA penthouse for $21.6 million

After numerous price cuts, Matthew Perry has finally sold off his lavish penthouse condo for $21.6 million.

The sale of the residence, dubbed a ‘mansion in the sky’, marks the most expensive sale of a condo in Southern California in the last six years, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Taking up the entire 40th floor of the high-rise residential complex Century Tower, the exquisite property boasts four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, and of course unparalleled views of the city.

From the living room to the bathroom, every inch of the property is a sight to behold.

Hardwood floors serve as the foundation for much of the residence, save for the bathroom which is outfitted primarily in marble and tile.

The stunning kitchen boasts two island counters, plenty of storage space, and an overall chic ambiance perfect for unwinding.

And who needs to head to the theaters with the penthouse’s very own screening room?

At least two of the bedrooms face endless 360-degree-view windows looking out onto the City of Angels, while the kitchen offers a hefty bar area with room for at least five people.

Ample seating area galore allows the apartment to become a perfect hub for entertaining (post pandemic, of course).

The sprawling terrace areas add that extra touch of excellence, making this property a fit for a Friend.

The home has undergone numerous price cuts since Matthew first purchased it in 2017 for $20 million.

The actor listed the home in 2019 for $35 million, before slashing the price down to $27 million, $23 million, and the final sale price, according to the LA Times.

Regardless of when he makes a sale, Matthew has little to worry about in terms of finances.

He recently appeared in the much-hyped Friends reunion for HBO Max, which is reportedly earning each of the six beloved actors somewhere in the vicinity of $2.5 million, according to Variety.

Meanwhile, Matthew is single again following the end of his engagement to literary agent Molly Hurwitz.

Perry and Molly were first romantically linked in 2018, with the actor gushing to the outlet last year that she is ‘the greatest woman on the face of the planet.’

Back in November, Perry joyously announced his engagement to People.

‘I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time,’ he said at the time.
