Arizona Cardinals rookie Zaven Collins was arrested for reckless driving on Sunday night in Scottsdale.  

Details of the incident are not fully known, but the 22-year-old was stopped by officers in Scottsdale for excessive speed and reckless driving, a police spokesperson told DailyMail.com. He was booked and released on Sunday night.

The arrest occurred on East Chaparral Rd., which is a long straightaway in Scottsdale. 

Representatives for the team and Collins did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com for comment. 

The former Tulsa star was the 16th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He recently took part in the Cardinals’ minicamp after signing a four-year, $14.7 million deal that included an $8 million signing bonus.
