She has long been known for her shoulder length golden locks.

But Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski has debuted an edgy new look.

The 38-year-old has chopped her tresses into a very short cropped style.

On Monday, Yvonne flaunted her new look on Instagram, writing in the caption, ‘short hair, don’t care’. 

Mostly recently, The Handmaid’s Tale star rocked a chic long bob. 

She flaunted the style as she modelled several chic outfits on Instagram, including a pair of high-waisted navy blue tapered trousers.

She also wore a matching high-neck cropped jacket, and rounded out her stylish ensemble with a pair of sky-high black stilettos with tie detailing.

The  actress wore her hair loose and appeared to have been wearing natural-looking makeup.

Yvonne revealed she was dressed up for media interviews to discuss her upcoming blockbuster, The Tomorrow War.

She stars in the sci-fi action film alongside Chris Pratt, with the movie set in the future where a man must fight for the survival of humanity.

The former Chuck actress – who stands at 176 centimetres tall – has been showing off her impossibly long legs in a series of photos posted to Instagram recently.

In April, she shared a photo of herself in a pair of high-waisted red pants as she carried out interviews for the upcoming season of The Handmaid’s Tale.

Just a week earlier in April, she shared a photo of herself in an electric blue patterned pantsuit.

In an interview with Collider in July last year, Yvonne revealed that she almost didn’t try her hand at a career in Hollywood, and described herself as ‘super lucky’.

She explained that she had ‘a terrible acne problem’, which made her insecure, and described it as ‘a psychological thing to work through’.

Yvonne said it was only because of her friends, who ‘convinced’ her she needed to try Hollywood that she made the leap.

‘And ironically, for me, my face is my job, it’s my tool, it’s what I used predominantly in my craft. 

‘It’s been an interesting journey, and not something that I really ever talk about but I think it is important to talk about… It’s all kinds of things. You lose a job for it!’
