Mark’s time on 2021’s series of Dancing On Ice was cut short, after his celebrity partner Billie Faiers had to drop out of the competition after getting a concussion.

In February, she admitted she was ‘so, so gutted’ to leave the show after suffering a fall in rehearsals during the week.

Billie sustained the injury during one more run-through of a performance, where she lost her balance after a lift and hitting her head on the ice.

At the time, Mark said: ‘We’d been working really hard, Billie obviously had a lot to catch up on when she missed a week.

‘We’d had a good week of training, really positive and happy week. Then on Friday night we said let’s do one more run-through and of course that’s when she went.’

Mark added: ‘When she goes over she bangs her head, and that’s the start of the concussion, which we know she’s suffering from.’
