Rob Beckett parties with Jack Whitehall and Declan Donnelly as he films glee at England’s Euro win

There were cheers of jubilation across the country on Wednesday after England beat Denmark 2-1 to secure their place in the Euros 2020 final.

And one person who certainly was in a celebratory mood was Rob Beckett, who gleefully documented his shenanigans before and after the match on his Instagram stories.

The comedian, 35, mingled with the likes of Jack Whitehall, Declan Donnelly, dan Baldwin and Peter Crouch before partying into the small hours, having so much fun that he missed the the school run the next morning.

Rob took to his stories early, where he shared clips of him and pal Lloyd Griffiths stocking up on booze before they headed to Wembley’s Boxpark for some pre-match fun.

The star was in a great mood as he filmed crowds of supporters chanting his name before he soaked up the atmosphere at the bash, exclaiming: ‘I just love seeing people happy!’

While there, Rob bumped into fellow comedian Jack Whitehall, who was in a doubly good mood as he was also celebrating his 33rd birthday.

The stars, as well as a group of their pals, shared a few drinks together as they geared up for the big game.

As the drink continued to flow, Rob spoke into the camera and said ‘f**king hell, I think this is going to be worse than last time!’

The TV personality was of course referring to the mother of all hangovers he had after partying into the night following England’s win against Germany at the beginning of the month.

He then filmed himself inside Wembley Stadium itself as he watched the nail-biting game before joyously celebrating as the home team scored.

Amid the half-time break, Rob also shared a snap of a message from his wife Louise, who appeared concerned that he was drunk so early and requested that he stopped screaming into the camera.

Following the game, Rob then bumped into another TV star, Declan Donnelly, who was enjoying a post-match drink with Holly Willoughby’s producer husband Dan Baldwin.

So merry was Rob that he accidentally called Dec by the name of his presenting partner Ant McPartlin, with Dec correcting him saying: ‘I’m the other one!’

Later into the night, the stand-up comic filmed himself and Lloyd having a drink with football stars turned pundits Peter Crouch, Alex Scot and Ashley Williams.

With the night soon over, Rob then took to hos stories again as he lamented that he’d missed the last tube as it was 2am, with Lloyd remarking: ‘I do’t know how I’m going to get home!’

Luckily, the two managed to grab a taxi and continued to document their antics in the car, with Rob sharing his upset that all the chicken shops were shut.

On Thursday morning, the star then wearily filmed himself from his bed, where he said: ‘I did not make the school run!’ before turning to his wife yelling: ‘love you Lou!’

Rob’s antics come a week after fans called for him to be knighted after he shared his very rowdy night out – and painful hangover – celebrating England’s victory over Germany in the Euros 2020.

The comedian posted regular updates in the lead-up to last Tuesday’s game and things only got more wild as he toasted the nation’s victory throughout the night.

Sharing on Instagram, Rob was seen downing beers at Wembley, eating chicken on the floor and shouting ‘It’s coming home’ out of a megaphone in an Uber.

Other posts saw him ask his wife Louise if she’d ‘fancy a bit’ when he got home, with her turning down his offer and penning: ‘I admire the optimism, but absolutely not’.

After enjoying the numerous clips documenting his day, several fans took to Twitter to praise the dad-of-two’s antics and even say he should be ‘knighted’.
