Bachelor In Paradise star Evan Bass reveals he is getting a ‘vasectomy for real this time’

Bachelor In Paradise star Evan Bass revealed on Instagram this week that he is getting a ‘vasectomy for real this time.’

The 38-year-old was initially meant to have the procedure in March of last year but it later emerged that he had not managed to do so.

He shares his two youngest children Bella, three, and Charlie, one, with his wife Carly Waddell whom he met and got engaged to on Bachelor In Paradise.

Evan also has three older sons – Nathan, Liam, and Ensley – from a former romance and has been pictured with all five of his children on his Instagram.

He announced his upcoming surgery on his Insta Stories this Thursday by uploading a screen-grab of his phone calendar.

This Friday he had a therapy appointment written in at noon, three hours before he was scheduled to get his ‘Vasectomy for real this time.’

For the rest of the day his schedule entries were jokes including an ‘Ask me anything Valium edition’ during his recuperation.

‘Release only fans live stream of snip for only 6 low payments of 59.99 plus shipping and handling,’ came right before: ‘Evan out until 2026.’

Once Friday rolled along he regaled his fans with a couple of more Insta Stories giving them a glimpse into the process.

One showed his feet sticking out from under the blanket in what appeared to be the hospital bed in an image captioned: ‘Game time.’

In another post he wrote that in lieu of using frozen peas for an icepack he was buying frozen corn ‘so I can use them for pancakes later’ in a touch of ‘Irony.’

Early last March before the coronavirus lockdowns Carly revealed during a Q&A on Insta Stories that her husband was due to have a vasectomy ‘this month.’

However in late June on an episode of her podcast Mommies Tell All she announced that the procedure ‘never actually happened.’

Evan was appearing on that episode of the show and joked that the arrival of another baby would sink their marriage.
