Fox FM host Nick Cody announces the birth of his second child with actress wife Lucia Smyrk and reveals his newborn son’s sweet name

Comedian and radio host Nick Cody has welcomed his second child with actress wife Lucia Smyrk. 

The Fifi, Fev & Nick presenter shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday. 

Nick revealed he and Lucia welcomed a son named Max Alistair Cody on Monday, but decided to wait two days before announcing the baby’s arrival.

‘He came out happy, healthy and real relaxed,’ Nick said. 

‘Lucia smashed him out in under two hours like a weapon. His big brother loves him so much that he sneezed on him immediately and tells everyone that the baby’s name is dog.’

He cheekily added: ‘Max clearly wanted to miss the sad McGregor fight, but get here in time for England to s**t the bed in the Euros. What a good kid.’

The news was also shared on the Fifi, Fev & Nick Instagram page on Wednesday. 

‘Only the BIGGEST congratulations to the Cody fam,’ the post began. 

‘Welcoming Max to the world!! #powerfulname.’

Nick joined the Fifi, Fev & Nick show earlier this year, replacing Byron Cooke. 

When the news of Byron’s replacement was revealed, Nick said in a statement at the time that he was ‘so pumped to be joining Fifi and Fev in 2021.’
