The 26-year-old supermodel shared an innocent snap of Awasum walking down the street, only for the budding model to be recognized and offered multiple deals with top fashion labels.

Gigi caught a glimpse and a quick photo of Awsasum as she sat in the back of a car while driving around the city.
‘Shoutout to my NYC inspiration of the day: this queen,’ Gigi wrote. ‘Was too [drool emoji] to get a pic of the front, but she was major.’
Awasum told Buzzfeed: ‘I guess I was on Gigi’s story all day and no one knew because it was the back of my head.’

It was later in the day when she was out to dinner with her boyfriend and his family when a few fans noticed her.
‘These little girls tap my shoulder and then they run away,’ Nanga said. ‘And then they walk up again and say, ‘Excuse me, but you were posted on Gigi Hadid’s story.”
She later shared a grab of the clip and tweeted: ‘It’s the way @GigiHadid would have changed my entire life if I was only facing the right way.’
