Gillian bought the apartment with her husband Sam back in 2012, paying $1,685,000 for it at the time.

The New York-style Art Deco home boasts a study, double parking space and separate living areas.

‘There’s often the temptation to make places open-plan, but I like the fact there’s a separate dining room, lounge room and kitchen,’ Gillian told the publication.

‘There was a certain way of life and everything’s not on show – if you have a dinner party, you move to another room.’

She said her favourite room is the sunroom, and revealed the apartment feels more like a house, with it being just one of three in its block.

Gillian and Sam lived in the luxury apartment with their two children, Eve and Toby, and said they’d ‘held many kids’ birthday parties in the shared garden’.
