Larry Emdur and his wife Sylvie revealed plans to transform a dilapidated property into a stunning new home.

And the 56-year-old proved his got his work cut out for him when he documented the run down home on Sunday.

Larry took his followers on a tour of the home that is in heavy disrepair with the TV star choosing to see the lighter side of the hard work.

‘Ok. So I’ve been thinking about it and maybe I don’t have to renovate,’ Larry said, showing the inside of the home.

‘I got a roof over my head, I’ve got a beautiful kitchen, I got some whole peeled tomatoes,’ he added, clearly sarcastic.

‘I can cook on that thing, it’s air conditioned which is great, there’s a comfortable bed and the very latest TV to watch The Morning Show.’

Larry was clearly joking with the place falling apart and needing a lot of work in order to get it up to scratch.

The TV star showed his sense of humour adding in the caption of the video: ‘Ummm, have I accidentally bought a meth lab ???’

Larry bought the derelict block of land at Neverfail Bay in Berowra Waters in late August.

The block of land was last sold for $575,000 in 1999.

It was purchased by the Emdurs for $1million dollars.

Missing parts: In the footage earlier this month, Larry showed broken-up wooden floorboards of the property before he moved the camera towards the ceiling, which has been extracted, with only the aluminium foil insulation remaining

Larry shared a a clip of the run down place earlier this month with him saying he and his wife Sylvie were ‘going to attempt to turn this dangerously dilapidated massive termites nest into a fabulous industrial boho love nest.’

Larry went on to explains the renovation is an ‘ambitious marriage testing project.’

‘It’ll either be AMAZING or an absolute ****ing disaster,’ he added. ‘Either way it’ll be great Insta content… watch this space, wish us luck.’

Larry and Sylvie have assembled quite an impressive property portfolio across New South Wales.

They bought an architecturally designed weekender, also in Berowra Waters, in 2019 for $1.1million.

The riverfront property includes a home with 5 metre-high ceilings and an almost entirely glass wall facing the river.

At about the same time, the Emdurs spent $2.15million on a stylish shipping-container home in Kangaroo Valley.

The house blends steel, glass and polished concrete floors with eco-friendly features, such as solar panels with a battery bank and rainwater harvesting.

Larry also recently sold his Bondi Beach investment property earlier this year.
