Schoolgirl, 16, who vanished from the Forest of Dean is found safe and well after a three-day search

  • Chloe Chant, 16, from Gloucestershire, went missing on Monday morning
  • She was due to attend college that day but she failed to arrive, police said
  • She was found on Wednesday evening as police thanked people for their help


A teenage girl who was sparked a police search after being reported missing three days ago has been found, police have confirmed.

Chloe Chant, 16, had last been seen in the Lydney area of Gloucestershire at 7.30am on Monday when she left for college.

Alarms were raised when she did not arrive and police said there were concerns for her welfare. 

However, Gloucestershire Police confirmed she has now been found.

A spokesman for the force said: ‘A teenage girl who had been reported missing from Lydney has now been found.

‘Police would like to thank the media and public for their help in sharing the appeal to locate 16-year-old Chloe.’
