A daredevil rollerblader found a novel way to go faster – by getting a tow from an energetic husky.

Tatiana Karpova, 19, was filmed hanging onto the harness of her friend’s five-year-old dog Bootur in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

Footage shot by her friend Igor Karmazinov on October 12 shows Tatiana speeding along a cycle path behind the dog.

Huskies, originally bred to haul sleds, can reach speeds of up to 30mph and Bootur has no trouble pulling Tatiana along.

The video shows Tatiana skating along as she laughs and jokes with Igor.

She grabs Bootur’s harness and lets him run as fast as he can down the path. At one point she raises a hand as if spinning a lasso at a rodeo or even cracking a whip like a sled driver.

The duo appear to be skating along a cycle lane on a main road in the city in western Russia.

Tatiana, a keen skateboarder and rollerblader, is kitted out with safety clothing including knee pads and gloves.
