Cesc Fabregas believes Timo Werner is being let down by his Chelsea team-mates and looks ‘fed up’ as a result.
The German striker completed his £47million move from RB Leipzig to Stamford Bridge last summer but has since struggled to settle in west London.
After becoming a goal-scoring machine in the Bundesliga, the 25-year-old hasn’t been able to replicate that same form in England just yet, managing six goals in his first Premier League campaign.

His performances have left many Blues supporters frustrated given how Werner has missed plenty of guilt-edge chances in front of goal, leading to the club to splash the cash once again and bring Romelu Lukaku back to the club for £98m.
But while Werner’s struggles have continued in front of goal this season, scoring just once in seven appearances, Fabregas believes the Germany international can offer a whole lot more – only if his club team-mates give him the ball.
During a Q&A on his Twitter page on Thursday, one Chelsea fan asked Fabregas what he made of Werner, to which the Spaniard replied: ‘He makes so many good runs but sometimes they either don’t see him or don’t play the pass. He looks fed up sometimes.’

Werner ended his eight-month goal drought in the Premier League this month when he scored in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Southampton, with Werner insisting his whole Blues career was summed up within those 90 minutes.
‘I was very happy to score and help the team,’ Werner told Chelsea TV after the match. ‘In the first half, it was the story of my whole Chelsea career in one game a little bit!
‘It was obviously not so clear because it took the referee a while to make his decision. Maybe 50/50. We have to accept it, I had to accept it, and in the end, I was happy I could score again and we won the game.
‘It was a very important win after losing the last two. It was a very tough game for us because Southampton did very well.’

Blues boss Tuchel was also happy that Werner could celebrate his goal after a tough time to life in London.
‘We are all relieved, him and me and the whole club,’ Tuchel added after the game.
‘Every time he scores we have the feeling there is a VAR decision to take it away from him, there have been a lot of very narrow decisions. I remember one against Liverpool that was super close.
‘He has to keep on going and a lot of things to improve. We’re happy and relieved that he scored. It was very, very important goal for us to secure the win. And on the other hand he was there when he needed to be.’
