There’s another one! Meet Chris and Liam Hemsworth’s hot secret cousin

There’s no denying the Hemsworths are among the hottest stars in Hollywood.

And fans of the famous brothers will rejoice knowing there’s a new member of the family who is ready to make his acting debut. 

Luke Van Os, the cousin of Chris, Luke and Liam, is set to follow in Chris’ footsteps by joining the long-running Australian soap Home and Away.

Luke, 24, is related to the Hemsworths through his father Robert, who is the brother of their mother Leonie. 

Luke announced last month he was joining Home and Away, the show that Thor star Chris, 38, appeared on as Kim Hyde from 2004 to 2007. 

‘I’m so excited to finally announce that I will be joining the Home and Away team,’ he said.

‘My character Xander has a close tie with one of the Summer Bay favourites. I can’t thank the amazing cast, crew and Channel Seven for making me feel so welcomed into this long running family.’

He added: ‘Thank you to my friends, family and team who have supported me over this long journey, this is where the work starts. Look out for Xander on screens in 2022.’

Underneath his Instagram post, Chris commented underneath and congratulated his cousin. 

‘Congrats mate that’s epic,’ Chris said. 

Luke previously told The Daily Telegraph that Chris ran lines with him over Zoom ahead of his audition. 

‘When I was asked for a callback for the chemistry test, I actually zoomed with Chris the night before and we ran it (the scene) and kind of just got into a good headspace,’ Luke told the publication. 

‘His advice was be nice, put in the work and the work doesn’t end now, if anything this is when you need to work hard,’ Luke said about his famous cousin. 

Luke added that’s he grateful his cousins Chris, Liam, 31, and Luke, 41, have done well with their careers as they give him ‘insights’ into the industry. 

‘It is good that they have paved the way for me because I have got all of their insights so they have been a huge help over the years. I am fortunate,’ he said.
