Konrad Bien-Stephens reveals how he met girlfriend Abbie Chatfield – after the two were busted kissing in Byron Bay and he was booted out of The Bachelorette by Brooke Blurton
Konrad Bien-Stephens has confirmed he is dating former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield.
And on Saturday, the Bachelorette contestant revealed how the pair met, after they were spotted getting hot and heavy at a pub in Byron Bay earlier this month.
The 31-year-old The Courier Mail: ‘We met by chance one night in Byron Bay through a mutual friend. It’s early days but I’m excited for what the future holds.’

He added that he and Abbie, 26, are official, telling the paper: ‘We are seeing each other, yes’.
Konrad was sent home by Brooke Blurton on Thursday’s episode of the Channel 10 dating show.
He confirmed afterwards that he’s dating Love Island Afterparty host Abbie.

During an interview with Studio 10 on Friday, Konrad, said: ‘I’m really grateful I met Brooke, but yeah I’ve been hanging out with Abbie… She’s really cool.’
‘I’m excited to see where things may go with that, but it’s still very early days, I’m not going to jump the gun,’ he added with a cheeky smile.
He also echoed these thoughts in an interview with Yahoo!
‘We filmed The Bachelorette ages ago, production ended back in August…’Brooke and I weren’t meant to be and having said that, Abbie is an amazing girl,’ he explained.

Konrad sparked rumours he didn’t find love with Brooke after he was spotted sharing a steamy kiss with Abbie at the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay at the start of this month.
In an exclusive video obtained by Daily Mail Australia, Abbie and Konrad were spotted at the popular coastal haunt cosily chatting in line for the bar.

Several days earlier, Abbie had documented a date she’d been on with a mystery man. At the time she didn’t reveal his identity.
Posting to Instagram Stories, the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star uploaded a video of herself sitting in the car next to her mystery male suitor, who was just out of shot.
Abbie asked her followers about whether she should pursue a relationship with the man, given that they both share the same star sign.
