Bump star Nathalie Morris says she had ‘never been self-conscious’ before starring on the hit Stan show


Nathalie Morris shot to fame thanks to her starring role on the Stan hit series, Bump. 

And the 26-year-old says that being in the spotlight has made her more aware of her looks than she had previously been. 

‘I’d never been self-conscious until Bump,’ she told The Sydney Morning Herald on Sunday.

‘It made me go, “Oh s**t, people are really going to see what I look like and who I am. Maybe it will affect whether I work.” It affects my livelihood, which is kind of intense.’

Nathalie added that she still feels strange getting dressed up for glamorous photo shoots. 

‘I never imagined myself with big earrings in, my nails painted and posing in a sheer designer dress,’ she said.

‘Sometimes I step outside of myself because I think about who I was or who I thought I would be and how I think of myself. It’s almost like this weird thing is happening to me,’ the actress added. 

Nathalie plays Oly in the series, a teenager who is thrust into motherhood after a surprise pregnancy. 

Stan has announced that Bump season two will be released on the streaming platform on Boxing Day.

Meanwhile, Angie (Claudia Karvan) and Dom (Angus Sampson) will be forced to deal with the fallout of their separation and the complicated new relationships and dramas they have found themselves immersed in.

The first season of Bump was Stan’s biggest ever premiere, breaking the all-time viewing record for a new series on the platform at the time.  

Season one of Bump is available to stream now on Stan. Season two will be available to stream on December 26
