The Real Housewives of Melbourne broached the topic of recently departed star Anjali Rao on Sunday night’s episode.
Veteran housewife Janet Roach discussed the CNN journalist – along with rumoured talk of her ‘break-in’ of Anjali’s apartment .
In a recap in the Courier Mail, Janet spoke about the reasons behind the star leaving the series with her puzzled it was ‘due to her’.

‘[I] barely said two words to her,’ Janet said on the program.
During the episode Kyla Kirkpatrick told Simone Elliott that Janet allegedly ‘broke into’ Anjali’s apartment during the star’s pool party.
Kyla later confirmed Anjali checked security footage and found it didn’t happen.

However, Janet was confronted with the allegation by Simone with the herbal tea mogul clearing the entire mess up.

She noticed bare space and didn’t think Anjali lived there so she opened an empty cupboard to prove her point – however, they weren’t actually in her apartment.

It was revealed this week by her Daily Mail Australia that Rao actually resides in a modest rented property in an outer suburb of the city.
Rao’s apartment has become a major storyline this season, after co-star Kyla accused Janet of trying to ‘break in’ to the six-star lodgings to see if Rao really lived there.

‘Yeah I really live here. All my s**t is here; it has been for three months,’ she added.
It was later revealed she leased an apartment there while filming the show.
Rao quit the show shortly after the blow-up, claiming the other women engaged in ‘fake fights’ and that reality TV is ‘manufactured’.
Fellow Housewife Jackie Gillies has since shot down rumours of the alleged break-in, insisting was all made up by Kirkpatrick.

‘This bulls**t about Janet breaking into the apartment, this is a mess,’ Gillies said on her Shine It Up podcast.
‘Janet never broke into anybody’s apartment. I’ve already said this before.
‘It’s utter bulls**t, it never happened… Kyla, you’ve made that up. She was never in Anjali’s apartment.’
