Rachael Finch is the latest celebrity to be roasted by Instagram ‘snark’ account Celeb Spellcheck, after making an embarrassing gaffe while cooking for her family.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old posted a video after whipping up a delicious plate of vegan nachos, which she proudly discussed with her followers.
But fans couldn’t get over the way she pronounced the Spanish word tortilla, and she was immediately roasted online for her faux pas.

Because of its Spanish origins, the double ‘l’ in tortilla is pronounced ‘ya’ – whereas Rachael simply said it as ‘tor-tilla’.
‘Made my vegan nachos for dinner for the whole fam tonight guys, so I’ve got tortillas on the bottom and a bean mix…’ she said, while showing off the plate to the camera.
Fans were quick to comment on the mishap, with one writing: ‘A little torr tillar before the ball ett…’

Some were left confused as to what Rachael did wrong, with one saying: ‘Ok what am I missing.’
‘You can tell those who don’t understand what the issue is obviously pronounce tortillas the same way,’ one person laughed.
‘The absolute butchering of tortillas. Tor-tee-ahs is the correct way to pronounce!’ one follower responded.

It comes after influencer Ashley Mescia, 21, told her fans via Instagram Stories on Monday that she’s dropped her car off at the depot, but pronounced it ‘de-pot’.
Celeb Spellcheck re-posted the video to their page on Monday, captioning it: ‘I’m a little depot, short and stout.’
In the original clip, a glamorous Ashley ran her hands through her blonde tresses and told fans: ‘Hey guys, I thought I’d give you a little update but I just dropped my car off at the “de-pot” because I’m getting it shipped up to Queensland.’

‘How did everyone know how to pronounce depot but me? Don’t know where I’d be without social media honestly,’ she said.
