‘It’s a really bad line!’ Ant Anstead dodges questions about his relationship with Renee Zellweger during Good Morning Britain interview
Ant Anstead dodged questions about his relationship with girlfriend Renee Zellweger during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday.
The motor specialist, 42, has been dating the film star, 52, since last year after they met on his Discovery+ show, Celebrity IOU Joyride.
Speaking about Lewis Hamilton’s Formula One future, host Adil Ray suddenly switched gears and said: ‘We’ve spoken to you for about five minutes now, we haven’t asked you about this, well we’ve got to. How’s Renée?’

Ant, who was on the show with Formula One racing driver Jenson Button, laughed and pretended he couldn’t hear the presenter, saying: ‘It’s a really bad line.’
Turning to Jenson, he said: ‘Tell them more about Lewis [Hamilton]. Is Lewis going to come back next year?’
Susanna Reid laughed and said: ‘Send our love to Renee’.
Adil pressed Ant again for some information on the coupe’s romance, asking: ‘What are you getting her for Valentine’s?’

But Ant wouldn’t budge as Jenson jokingly said: ‘I think a Radford Type 62-2,’ as Ant added: ‘We’re going to get Lewis a Radford Type 62-2?’
Ant was previously asked about his relationship with Renee but once again played coy, simply saying that ‘these amazing things happen in your world’.
Speaking to PEOPLE (The TV show!) in October, Ant said: ‘I’m really grateful to the show because these amazing things happen in your world and sometimes when things collide, they collide at the most obscure times when you least expect them.’
He added: ‘And that’s what happened in this case. I’m grateful for that.’

In a separate September interview with the outlet, Ant confirmed that his and Renee’s relationship is ‘something that’s really private.’
Just last year, Ant finalised his divorce from fellow reality star Christina Haack.
The pair married in a surprise wedding at their home in California and had a son, Hudson, but by September 2020 they went their separate ways.
Christina has since found love in the arms of former cop and new fiancé, Joshua Hall.
She continues to co-parent her two children with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, who recently became a married man once again when he said ‘I do’ to Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young.
