The 64-year-old’s section of the Fossey’s Gorilla Fund had it’s grand opening on Tuesday.

The gorilla sanctuary, which is dedicated to the protection of gorillas, was gifted to the talk show host by her wife, Portia de Rossi, for her 60th birthday four years ago.

Four years in the making: Ellen DeGeneres’ gorilla campus is now accepting visitors in Rwanda

‘To see my name alongside hers on the walls of this beautiful campus, and to know I’m doing my part to protect endangered gorillas and continue Dian’s legacy, is simply amazing,’ Ellen shared with TMZ as she referred to Dian Fossey.

This fund helps protect gorillas from poachers and deforestation that puts the entire species at risk. The campus covers several acres of East African land which homes state-of-the-art lab facilities.

The campus even has its own custom furniture, created with the gorillas in mind, so they can lounge around their home.
