Kelly Kruger and Darin Brooks have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Gemma Wynter.
The couple, who co-starred together in The Bold and the Beautiful and Blue Mountain State, announced the happy news in an interview with People magazine.
‘We are just overjoyed! We couldn’t be happier!’ Darin, 37, told the media outlet.

Kelly, 40, gave birth to Gemma, who weighed 9 lbs, 13 oz. and measured 21 inches, on Saturday in Los Angeles.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2016, also share two-year-old daughter Everleigh Jolie.
Darin went on to say, ‘We always wanted a sibling for Everleigh because I have my older brother and Kelly has an older brother and two stepsisters.’

He continued, ‘So we were so excited to be able to give Everleigh a sibling and when we found out it was a girl, it was perfect because Everleigh is just so awesome, caring, strong and such a personality.’
The couple told People that their eldest daughter played a key role in naming her baby sister.
They said that both ‘Gemma’ and ‘Wynter’ were their ‘two top first names’ for the newest addition to the family.

The two told People, ‘We decided to use both because when we asked our daughter, Everleigh, what name she liked for baby sister, Gemma or Wynter, she would always say “Gemma Wynter.”
They continued, ‘So we said “Why not just do what Everleigh wanted to name her baby sister, Gemma and Wynter?”
‘So it’s actually kind of sweet that she now played a big part in naming her baby sister!’

In August, the couple revealed that they were expecting their second child together.
‘We are so excited about baby No. 2!’ Kelly told People at the time.
‘We told our daughter Everleigh as soon as we found out, and since then she asks to kiss my tummy every day. It’s the sweetest thing.’

‘Laying down and binge-watching TV doesn’t work when you have a one-year-old running around.
‘It was definitely much more challenging. Plus we just moved! It has been a lot, to say the least, but we are so grateful.’
Kelly has appeared in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless before joining the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful in 2014. The Canada native returned to reprise her role in The Young and the Restless in 2018.
Darin starred as Max Brady in the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives from 2005 to 2010. He won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2010.
The actor, who hails from Hawaii, took on the role of Wyatt Spencer in the Bold and the Beautiful in 2013. He continues to have a recurring role on the show while also starring on the Apple TV series Amber Brown.
