This is the comical moment a bartender accidentally knocked a punter’s pint into his lap with a lime.
CCTV footage from Murtagh’s Bar and Lounge in Kingscourt, County Cavan, Ireland, shows 20-year-old John Oates playing catch with a lime just inches away from two customers who are enjoying pints together on January 28.
Seconds later, the bartender misjudges his catch and the lime slips out of his hand, hitting the glass of one of the punters.

The lime bounces off the side of the glass and knocks it over – sending the man’s pint pouring into his lap.
Mr Oates later took to social media to share the clip with the comment: ‘Reason number one why I shouldn’t work behind the bar.’
Speaking today Mr Oates, from Kingscourt, Co Cavan, said: ‘I felt very bad at first and guilty.
‘I gave them both a pint straight away and helped clean up the mess.’
Following the scenes, viewers took to social media to share their amused reactions.
