PSG Ultras have sent a brutal message to the hierarchy of the Parisian club, listing a number of different reasons why the club is failing.

The Collectif Ultras Paris, or CUP for short, have given multiple reasons for their frustrations, which include the idea that the club is ‘obsessed with selling shirts, to the point of forgetting it’s heritage’.

In a lengthy statement on their social media accounts, the CUP aired their extreme frustration with the running of the Paris club after recently displaying a banner reading ‘our patience has limits’.

In a post on their Twitter, the statement read: ‘For too long now the club offers us something that we can no longer support.

‘The club wants to be a global brand, obsessed with selling shirts, to the point of forgetting its heritage and insulting the fans at the Parc by playing in an away kit at home.

‘This is a club that piles up the stars like a spoiled child, without concern for a coherent sporting plan. This is a club that dreams so big that it feels like the season starts in February while it despises domestic trophies.

‘We no longer recognize our club which seems to have lost its DNA.’

The criticism continues, with the statement describing the management of the club as ‘incomprehensible at all levels’.

Among other issues, the CUP listed: ‘constant changing of coaches while a project with consistent with recruitment is never put in place, the underused players for whom football no longer seems to be a real priority, the incomprehensible management of young players and a blatant lack of respect for the women’s team.’

The CUP also highlights the drama off the field in recent years as ‘episodes more worthy of a telenovela than a professional football club.’

Despite the CUP's complaints, Pochettino's side are 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1

Despite complaints from the CUP, PSG are actually 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 following their recent 5-1 demolition of current holders Lille.

Pochettino’s side have lost just one of their 23 league games so far this season, with the Parisians on track to claim their 10th league title in history.

The accolade would bring them joint with Saint-Étienne as the two French clubs to have won Ligue 1 the most amount of times – 10 each.
