Stylish Kym Marsh beams as she leaves the opening night of her Fatal Attraction stage show in Manchester where she is starring as Alex Forrest


She is playing the part of the iconic Alex Forrest in the stage production of Fatal Attraction at the Manchester Opera House.

And Kym Marsh was all smiles as she left the theatre after opening night on Friday wearing a stylish ensemble.

The actress, 45, looked great in a pair of black jeans and jumper which she teamed with a camouflage coat that had a red fur lining.

She completed her look with comfortable white trainers and carried a selection of shopping bags with her as she headed home.

The star wore her curly brunette tresses in a perfectly styled look and opted was still sporting her glamorous stage makeup.

The first show was clearly a success as the beauty couldn’t keep the smile off her face while stepping out.

Kym plays the part of the iconic Alex Forrest in the stage production of Fatal Attraction alongside fellow former Coronation Street star Oliver Farnworth, 39, who plays Dan Gallagher.

When happily married New York attorney Dan meets Alex on an evening out they enjoy a night of passion.

Dan returns home to his family and tries to cover his tracks but Alex is not on the same page.

It comes after last week Kym revealed that she’s set to join the cast of the revamped Waterloo Road.

The former Coronation Street star will play school canteen worker Nicky Walters who has two children in the school, with Kym remarking she ‘can’t wait to get going’ with filming.

The actress, who played Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, will join fellow Coronation Street alumni Rachel Leskovac (playing Head of English Coral Walker) on the BBC show as the full cast for the series is announced.

Sharing her excitement at the casting, Kym said: ‘I’m thrilled to be joining the fabulous cast of Waterloo Road, it’s such a joy to get the opportunity to film in Manchester again and I can’t wait to get going!’ 

As well as Rachel, who played Natasha Blakeman on Corrie, other stars joining the cast include EastEnders’ Jo Coffey who will play PA Wendy Whitwell, Wonder Woman’s Vincent Jerome as joint deputy head Lindon King and James Baxter as the other deputy head Joe Casey. 

Coronation Street’s Sonia Ibrahim also joins as Jamilah Omar, the school’s social worker, with Shauna Shim of The Worst Witch fame playing music teacher Valerie Chambers and Katherine Pearce (Rules of the Game, Three Girls) portraying Amy Spratt – an early career teacher.
