Married At First Sight’s Selin Mengu delivers touching message to ex-‘husband’ Anthony Cincotta

Her time with ‘husband’ Anthony Cincotta came to an abrupt end after they both decided to write ‘leave’ during last week’s commitment ceremony.

And on Wednesday, Selin Mengu took to Instagram to reflect on her experience on the Channel Nine series with a lengthy post shared to her social media account.

Uploading their wedding photo alongside flowers, she wrote: ‘The end of Anthony and Selin.’

‘The time was up for Anthony and I in the experiment, we both decided it was the best thing we could do to end it and are civil.’

Selin explained that the highlight of the experiment was being selected to put herself out there and learn that it isn’t selfish to find love.

‘I will be open to the opportunity the next time someone does approach me, instead of being so cold to the idea,’ she wrote.

Speaking of the downside of going on the show, she said: ‘Definitely being apart from my son and being uncomfortable sharing particular moments.’

The executive assistant, who hails from Sydney’s Western Suburbs, went on to say that she hasn’t given up on her quest to find love.

‘I am ready to find love and hopefully in the most organic, authentic way possible.’ 

Selin ended the post with a sweet message to her professional wrestler ‘ex’.

‘Lastly, Anthony I hope you find love and I wish you and your daughter all the very best,’ she concluded.
